Cannonball Tree (Reng Phnom)

 HUGE VINE WITH BIG FLOWERS

I have always passed this vine going to Save More along Mapagkawanggawa Street. I was in awe at the huge white flowers, the size of my palm with a diameter of 5-6 inches at the tip, shaped like a bell (resembling Angel's Trimpet), and always forgot to take pictures, mesmerized by its beauty. Now, i see it with a fruit, only one, in contrast to the profuseness of its blooms several months ago. I also saw the same vine at Amici di Don Bosco in Makati, run by priests or monks.

I googled, it is called Easter Lily Vine (Beaumontia Grandiflora).
