INSULINATED
17 October 201 9 10:09 a.m.
A while ago, the lady who i suspected to be cutting the young leaves of the insulin plant walked past me, saying, "They are so lush!" I could not muster my usual smile because the plant was so mangled, and the stems were mindlessly cut. And she moved on. The last time, when I was there, she asked for several leaves, and i cut several for her using an appropriate cutting tool, saying, "I will replant for you so you won't have to ask me for leaves." But she did not come back for the seedlings, she continued to cut from the best shoots, especially when I am not home.Everyday, four healthy young leaves gets carelessly pulled. My patience is wearing thin.
